The autoresponder is automated email you preload an autoresponder with a supply of emails and program it as to when you want those emails sent out. An example would be to have 10 emails loaded into the autoresponder to email to your opt-in list on every 2nd day. You write the emails once and load them into your autoresponder; you can then use an opt-in page to get subscribers to your list. Once people subscribe to your list they will get a confirmation message and when they confirm they will then get your first email.
